Pediatric Associates seeks a full-time outpatient pediatrician to join our Lakeland practice in Florida. The role focuses on comprehensive pediatric care for newborns to adolescents, working within a supportive team and a 4-day work week schedule.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Pediatrics residency completed (ACGME or AOA).
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years of training.
• Meets requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS as required for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient pediatric care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including NPs/PAs.
• Participate in a 4-day work week schedule and maintain clinical productivity.
• Support NHSC-approved site requirements and participate in incentive programs.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or DO degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
