Pediatric Associates in Clearwater, Florida is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment for growth and development.

Spanish-speaking preferred; schedule includes 8am–5pm on most days, with early evening on Wednesdays and occasional Saturday mornings. Newborn rounding is part of the role, allowing you to follow patients from day one and build lasting relationships with families.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• ACGME or AOA pediatrics residency completed.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Florida.
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years.
• BLS certification required; PALS as hospital credentialing may be required.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care.
• Newborn rounding 1:4 days.
• Follow patients from day one and build lasting relationships with families.
• Coordinate with a strong clinical and administrative support team.

Physician

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
