Pediatric Associates Family of Companies in Orlando, FL seeks a full-time Outpatient Pediatrician for strictly outpatient care at our East Orlando practice.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• residency in Pediatrics (ACGME or AOA) completed or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics within five years of training.
• BLS certification required; PALS as needed for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strictly outpatient pediatric care for newborns to adolescents.
• Deliver well-child visits, immunizations and acute-care management.
• Collaborate with NPs/PAs and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Adhere to licensure, privileges, and network protocols; participate in quality initiatives.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
