Shriners Children’s Chicago is seeking a Manager for Orthotics & Prosthetics to lead clinical, technical, and administrative teams, ensuring high-quality devices per physician prescriptions and patient confidentiality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s with ABC certification and NCOPE residencies in O&P, plus at least five years of related experience in a hospital or medical office setting with insurance authorization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with ABC approved Orthotic and Prosthetic certificate and NCOPE residencies in both O&P.
• Minimum five years of clinical and technical experience in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
• Current ABC certification and licensure (where required).
• Experience working in a hospital or medical office with insurance authorization.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day department operations for Orthotics & Prosthetics.
• Plan, direct and manage Practitioners, O&P Technician staff, and Department Assistant staff.
• Coordinate workflow with the Fabrication Center (Tampa) for custom devices.
• Maintain ABC facility accreditation and adherence to SHC policies.
