Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking an O&P Assistant to measure, cast, modify, fabricate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices under the supervision of an ABC Certified Practitioner. You will document in OPIE EMR and support front office staff while coordinating device delivery timelines.

The role requires ABC Certification or eligibility, ability to work in a diverse clinical setting, and proficiency with data entry, digital scanning, and model modification.

Qualifications

• ABC Certification as an Orthotics/Prosthetics Assistant or eligible
• Ability to work in a dynamic and diverse patient population
• Computer skills for data entry, digital scanning and digital model modification

Responsibilities

• Measure, cast, modify, fabricate and fit prosthetic/orthotic devices under supervision.
• Maintain timely and compliant patient documentation in OPIE EMR and support front office staff.
• Direct fabrication workflow and supervise staff to meet reasonable delivery dates.
