Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Director of Pediatrics to lead Surgical Services in a large tertiary care setting. The role requires a Master’s degree, Texas RN license, and substantial pediatric management experience to drive staffing, budgeting and program development.

We value leadership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to high-quality patient care aligned with hospital goals. This is a full-time exempt position located at Medical City Dallas.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree required.
• RN Texas or compact license required.
• General acute pediatric and pediatric critical care experience preferred.
• 5 years experience in management in a hospital to include payroll, managing personnel, budgeting, business planning, marketing and physician relations required.
• BLS and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct Surgical Services in pediatrics per hospital goals.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to maintain standards of care.
• Develop policies to improve patient care quality and efficiency.
