Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Inspector II to lead plant quality control for precast and prestressed production or to perform owner and agency inspections for DOT and structural precast programs. Responsibilities include verifying prestressing operations, reviewing mix designs and strength records, and maintaining PCI/DOT QC records.

The role requires PCI Level II certification and strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/117 and state DOT specs, with travel between plants as needed

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level II, current.
• 2+ years in a certified precast or prestressed plant.
• Working knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and the DOT precast specifications for your state.
• ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify prestressing operations and transfer strength.
• Review mix designs, batch tickets, and strength records.
• Accept or reject finished products against specifications and shop drawings.
