Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Lead PCB fabrication process engineer to drive performance, quality, and reliability of high-speed PCB stacks and interconnects for volume Datacenter GPU PCBs.

You will partner with silicon/package design, layout, validation, and procurement to ensure robust manufacturability. The role requires deep expertise in complex fabrication processes, assembly reliability testing, and data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Chemical, etc).
  • Master's degree preferred in Electrical/Electronics & Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-performance material stacks and complex via-structure interconnects for Datacenter GPU platform PCBs.
  • Address Design for Manufacturing queries to mitigate fabrication yield issues and derisk on-schedule delivery.
  • Own process qualification and adoption of PCB fabrication technologies for SI, PD, and Thermal-Mechanical performance specifications.
  • Define technology roadmaps and vendor engagements to improve performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with silicon/package design and board engineering to enable PCB solutions from package to system level.
  • Contribute to overall Platform quality from feasibility to NPI and mass production ramp.
  • Drive process improvements while enabling fast time-to-market product delivery.
  • Operate decisively in a dynamic, fast-paced product development environment.
