Job summary

Leidos is seeking a PCB Engineering and Manufacturing Lead within the Mission Solutions Group in the National Capital Region. The candidate will manage PCB design, assembly, and production, and lead a team to deliver customized engineering solutions for complex customer requirements.

The role requires a strong background in PCB fabrication and assembly, schematics interpretation, and experience training engineers. Travel up to 5% may be required, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, or 16+ years without degree.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Experience managing manual and machine-enabled PCB assembly.
• Experience leading teams of engineers with strong customer service skills.
• Experience solving complex PCB design and manufacturing problems.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting PCB fabrication equipment and supplies.
• Experience interpreting schematics and performing 100% inspections of final assemblies.
• Ability to train engineers on designs, layouts, and tooling for PCB assembly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel, project objectives, and schedules for PCB design, assembly, and production.
• Design and develop customized PCB engineering solutions for complex customer requirements.
• Lead team in PCB design and fabrication, managing component files.
• Maintain a safe shop environment and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Lead and direct training courses for PCB engineering.
• Coordinate with procurement vendors to define components and timelines.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 5%.
