Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a PCBA Soldering Team Leader to oversee a lab that runs multiple SMT lines for various PCB assemblies. This role requires coordinating with project teams, production control, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years PCBA experience, strong team leadership, and the ability to read drawings and follow detailed work instructions. Clearance eligibility is required for US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma with 3–5 years PCBA experience.
• Strong experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall function in the soldering lab when lab Manager is not available; includes normal work hours and overtime.
• Communicate announcements to lab team members and updates to schedule with project teams and production control.
• Support solutions to technical problems with Manufacturing Engineers and attend management meetings for improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Management on continuous improvement and share best practices.
• Maintain 5S lab practices and engage with peers to optimize processes.
