Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Printed Circuit Board Fabricator to design, manufacture, and interface with vendors for PCB production in the NCR. The role emphasizes PCB fabrication, assembly, and proper materials handling, with a TS/SCI eligibility requirement.

The position involves teamwork to produce PCB designs and assemblies, review designs for manufacturability, and maintain fabrication equipment and inventory. Travel up to 5% may be required, and IPC certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience, or 4+ years of experience in mechanical shop or board fabrication.
• Ability to obtain IPC specialist-level certifications related to PCB manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to work on a team and use MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team for the production of PCB designs and assemblies.
• Fabricate PCBs to support project tasks and objectives.
• Assist with review of PCB designs and develop solutions for fixturing or processing.
• Maintain a safe shop environment and adhere to OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Assist with training and equipment use for designated personnel.
• Interface with internal customers to gather PCB requirements.
• Review E-CAD designs for manufacturing defects and propose IPC-compliant modifications.
• Maintain fabrication machines, software, and supply inventory.
• Communicate with vendors to support PCB fabrication and assembly needs.
• Support Purchasing with quotes and documentation for purchases.
• Create and maintain documentation for fabrication equipment and processes.
• Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel up to 5%.
