The Navy Exchange is seeking a Payroll Technician to train and guide other payroll staff, ensuring deadlines and complex payroll rules are correctly applied. You will provide technical payroll guidance to NES activities and perform sensitive pay calculations, contributing to accurate payroll processing and customer support.

You will coordinate with the payroll contractor, maintain payroll records, and generate reports while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of administrative or technical payroll experience with accuracy.
• Knowledge of traditional and automated payroll processes and policies.
• Ability to train colleagues and provide guidance on payroll procedures.

Responsabilités

• Ensure deadlines and technical payroll requirements are met.
• Provide training to payroll technicians on processing procedures.
• Serve as liaison with payroll contractor to resolve technical issues.
• Process employee payrolls in both automated and manual systems.
