Job summary

Miles Partnership in Denver, CO seeks a Payroll Supervisor to lead multi‑state payroll Operations, ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong controls. This hands‑on role reviews payroll execution, resolves complex issues, and serves as a payroll SME while partnering with HR, Finance, and Compliance.

You will review inputs, changes, taxes, and deductions, back up payroll processing, and help maintain payroll calendars and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience in multi-state environments.
• Experience administering and reviewing end-to-end payroll.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing across multiple states and entities.
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and issue resolution to payroll staff.
• Review inputs, changes, earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits before processing.
• Process payroll directly as needed to ensure business continuity.
• Investigate discrepancies and tax issues; ensure resolution.
• Maintain payroll controls, calendars, SOPs; coordinate with Finance.
• Assist with year-end filings and payroll reporting.
