Lumion is a fast-growing AI-powered SaaS company. The Lead Payments Engineer will own the billing and subscription infrastructure that monetises the product — a high-ownership role for a senior PHP engineer who wants to own a business-critical platform.

The role is remote for US residents only, with access to high equity and quarterly bonuses. You will lead payments design, scaling, and reliability, collaborating with leadership to drive monetisation initiatives and ensure secure financial data

Qualifications

• Senior Laravel/PHP engineering with payments or billing system experience.
• Stripe, Braintree, or similar payment gateway integration experience.
• Technical leadership capability — this is a lead role.
• US-based remote only.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead Lumion's payments platform: billing, subscriptions, invoicing, and revenue infrastructure.
• Design and implement payment integrations (Stripe or similar).
• Ensure reliability, security, and compliance of financial data systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on monetisation roadmap.
• Lead technical decisions across the payments domain.
