Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Jacksonville, FL seeks Principal Engineer Systems - Payloads Field Service or Senior Principal Payloads Field Service to join its Systems Engineering Organization on-site at Mayport, FL. Qualifications

• Must have a STEM degree and related engineering experience or higher degrees with progressively responsible duties.
• Ability to complete required training in San Diego with travel to other U.S. locations including Baltimore and Jacksonville.
• Must be able to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification within a reasonable time.
• Experience with Linux, troubleshooting, engineering docs, tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide real time support to flight operations and maintenance including payloads and MFAS, EO/IR, and link16 systems.
• Coordinate work with site leadership and ensure MAFs are in place for required tasks.
• Adhere to checklists and procedures and provide redlines when needed.
• Communicate complex technical issues to local support, DAC, MOBs and REs.
• Travel up to 25% and support AVO with comms, networks and interfaces.
