Knife River Corporation is seeking a Paving Superintendent to oversee daily paving operations, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget alignment. You will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and liaise with project managers to keep schedules on track.

The role requires strong leadership, field experience, and a solid understanding of DOT standards, specifications, and best practices in asphalt paving. On-site leadership and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of asphalt paving experience with 2+ years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, city and county paving specs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate all paving crew activities on-site.
• Schedule and manage labor, materials, and equipment for paving operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Communicate daily with project managers, foremen, and inspectors.
• Monitor timelines, quality control, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot field issues and adjust plans to meet goals.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation of progress.
• Participate in pre-paving meetings and plan efficient workflow.
