Job summary

Knife River Corporation in Magna, Utah is seeking a Paving Superintendent to oversee daily on-site paving operations, lead crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance on active projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of asphalt paving experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or superintendent role.
• Strong understanding of DOT, city, and county paving specifications.
• Knowledge of paving equipment, materials, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus and OSHA certification is beneficial.
