Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Paving Foreman/Superintendent in the Delaware/Wilmington area to oversee all stages of paving projects, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Candidates should have 5+ years in paving or related construction, strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, plus proficiency in project management tools and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in paving or related construction with proven project management.
• Extensive knowledge of paving materials, techniques and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all stages of paving projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
• Coordinating and supervising the activities of paving crews and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all paving work complies with specifications, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Developing and implementing project schedules and managing changes as required.
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Identifying and resolving issues or obstacles during the project.
• Communicating with project managers, clients, and team on status and updates.
• Maintaining records of activities, costs, timelines, and resources.
• Providing training and guidance to team members and maintaining a safe work environment.
