Job summary

Delaware Valley Paving in Pennsylvania is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and budget adherence while meeting client expectations.

You will coordinate with customers, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, estimators, and company leadership to drive results, monitor progress with site visits, review contracts, and manage closeout and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Develop project schedules and execution plans.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Conduct project kickoff meetings with operations teams.
• Track project budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices.
• Manage change orders and ensure additional work is properly documented and billed.
• Monitor production rates and job costing throughout the project.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates.
• Resolve project issues and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify opportunities for additional work and future projects.
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and Operations Managers.
• Ensure crews have the information, equipment, and resources needed to perform the work.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Assist with problem-solving when field conditions change.
• Submit RFIs, submittals, permits, and project correspondence.
• Manage closeout documents and final project turnover.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Promote and enforce company safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client safety requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings and site inspections.
• Monitor compliance with prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements when applicable.
