Job summary

Pave America is seeking an experienced Paving Foreman to lead our asphalt paving crew on commercial, municipal, and residential projects. You will supervise daily site operations, ensure productivity, and deliver high-quality workmanship on time and on budget.

Responsibilities include planning tasks, coordinating equipment and manpower, maintaining safety with PPE, and completing detailed daily reports. Travel may be required for projects outside the local area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in asphalt paving with 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of paving materials, equipment (pavers, rollers) and techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, grades and paving specs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of managing productivity, quality and safety in the field

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the paving crew
• Read and interpret project plans, grades, and specs
• Plan daily tasks and allocate resources (equipment and manpower)
• Monitor compaction, thickness and smoothness of pavement
• Ensure safety policies and proper PPE are followed
• Complete daily reports on work performed, materials used and labor hours
