Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a Patient Transport Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Patient Transport Services. You will manage staff, workflows, and performance metrics to ensure timely and courteous service in a clinical setting.

The role requires strong leadership, a minimum of five years related experience with at least one year in supervision, and a commitment to safety and patient satisfaction. Full-time days, 40 hours per week, with weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience required.
• Minimum 1 year managerial/supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication, computer literacy, teamwork and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of Patient Transport Services.
• Monitor staff performance, assignments and workflow.
• Maintain knowledge of patient transport, EHR, equipment storage and cleaning.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics; propose process improvements.
• Mentor employees and promote teamwork.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and staff training.
