Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is seeking a Senior Financial Counselor to administer Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility, charity program, and foundation program applications. You will counsel patients on private and public benefits, explain financial requirements, and collect outstanding patient portions at or before service.

You will mentor new associates, support orientation, and collaborate with leadership to optimize billing and collection processes while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding and medical terminology.
• Experience in healthcare billing or financial counseling preferred.

Responsabilités

• Screens patients for Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility, Charity Program or Foundation Programs and determines eligibility.
• Interacts with executives on approval of payment plans or settlements.
• Works with Patient Representatives researching and handling patient billing complaints.
• Collect patient portion as applicable.
• Maintains communication with physicians and staff to ensure proper program implementation.
• Promotes a positive professional, team-oriented and service-conscious environment.
