Patient Access Representative Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Access Representative Lead to oversee front-desk operations and serve as the primary point of contact for individuals entering our clinic. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients while maintaining efficient administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to support our team and enhance patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily front-desk activities, including greeting and directing patients, and ensuring a welcoming environment
  • Maintain accurate patient records and handle cashier-related transactions efficiently
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling across multiple departments to optimize clinic flow
  • Prepare and manage daily clinician schedules, making adjustments as needed to accommodate changes
  • Ensure all appointments, whether scheduled by phone or in person, are accurately entered and managed
  • Notify patients promptly of schedule changes or updates
  • Train and support front-desk staff to uphold clinic policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve patient access processes
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration preferred
  • Proven experience in patient registration, front-desk operations, or healthcare administration
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
