Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago seeks a Lead Associate in Patient Access within the Therapy department. The role supports smooth patient flow, accurate registration, and strong customer service in a busy clinic environment.

The position requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Schedule includes 6:45am–6:15pm with a requirement to stay until 6pm twice a week. Full-time days shift in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive knowledge of Patient Access required; CHAA preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal & organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
• Extremely high degree of attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Good analytical & problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• The Lead associate is responsible for ensuring a smooth patient flow, quality registration, maximum Point of Service patient collections, and outstanding customer service in his/her area of responsibility.
• Coordinates break and lunch times to ensure coverage needs are met and applicable employees receive a lunch break.
• Assists Supervisor in managing fluctuations in volume by requesting reinforcements if volumes are high and flexing staff if volume is low to meet productivity expectations.
• Knowledgeable regarding all duties within the Department he/she leads and serves as a resource for other employees on policies/procedures.
• Under the Supervisor's direction, takes the lead in assuring compliance and completion of all daily duties within the department.
• Sets the example in exemplary customer service and overall conduct with patients, visitors, physicians, and other departments.
