NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York is seeking a Lead Pathologists' Assistant for Surgical Pathology to oversee the gross room operations and daily staffing on the day shift, 7:30a-3:30p. You will supervise technical operations, QA/QC, and triage specimens to ensure timely, accurate processing.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, at least 6 years as a Pathologists' Assistant, ASCP Certification, and NYS PA license or equivalent.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Pathologists' Assistant.
• ASCP Certification required.
• NYS Pathologists’ Assistant license, or Clinical Lab Technologist License or Histotechnologist License.

• Triaging specimens among cutting room staff, technicians, and residents based on volume and complexity.
• Act as reference source for Gross Room staff, Residents, Pathologists’ Assistants, and Technologists.
