NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY, seeks a Pathologists' Assistant for Surgical Pathology on a full-time Day Flex schedule. You will dissect and examine surgical specimens, assist in cutting/staining frozen sections, and support bio banking in a state-of-the-art gross lab.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, NYS licensure as a Pathologists’ Assistant or eligibility, and ASCP certification.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• ASCP Certification required.
• NYS Pathologists’ Assistant licensure required; new hires pending NYS licensure must obtain within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Dissect and examine surgical specimens of varying complexity.
• Assist in cutting and staining frozen sections and bio banking.
• Assess specimen volume and triage among staff and residents; resolve workflow issues using AB&T and imaging systems.
