Performs maintenance, groundskeeping, and basic construction tasks. Operates various tools and equipment. Assigns daily job tasks to seasonal/variable park attendants and full time Park Technician(s). Occasional use of various materials such as herbicides, pesticides, and cleaning supplies. Works with park management to plan projects and priorities for maintenance staff.

Completion of high school or trade or vocational school (12th school grade) or possession of a GED certificate; two (2) or more years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Must possess a driver’s license valid in the State of Ohio and must be insurable by MWCD fleet insurance. A commercial driver’s license is desirable and may be required to operate equipment in certain parks. The following licensure or certification is also desirable and may be required in certain parks: Herbicide/Pesticide, Drinking Water, Wastewater, Certified Pool Operator, Certified Chainsaw Training.
