Job summary

Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District seeks a Park and Marina Supervisor to assist the Park and Marina Manager in directing recreation activities and operations at Seneca Park and Marina. You will supervise staff, oversee maintenance, and ensure excellent customer service to visitors.

The role requires coordinating dock and boat placement, managing retail sales, hiring/training staff, and maintaining compliance with MWCD policies. OhioBoater Certification may be required.

Qualifications

Assists Park and Marina Manager with dock and boat placement and retail sales operations. Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising seasonal, variable and full-time park and marina staff. Assists Park and Marina Manager and Assistant Marina Manager in maintaining and improving a clean marina designation through the ODNR Clean Marina program.20% (3)Ensures accurate use of park and marina reservation systems and ensures compliance with income processing and record keeping systems. Makes purchases; manages inventory, ensures products are not outdated and orders new merchandise; updates procedures for merchandise sales in camp stores/concession/marina retail areas; determines operating hours and recommends campground and other park or marina facility improvements.15% (4)Assists in overseeing park and marina compliance with budgeted funds; assists in administering park and marina budget and fiscal operations, including review of staffing levels, projects costs, tracks expenditures, prepares area budget, prepares and reviews reports, interprets purchasing guidelines, tracks revenue, sets expenditure limits in areas of responsibility, and reviews revenue; processes accounts payable utilities.15% (5)Participates in park and marina planning including goal setting and suggesting new approaches to improve customer service.
