Job summary

The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District is seeking a Park Maintenance Supervisor - Parks in Jurupa to lead and train a team of Maintenance Workers, oversee diverse projects across Western Riverside County, and ensure safe, high-quality park operations.

The role emphasizes field supervision, adherence to state and federal regulations, knowledge of encampment removal policies, GIS mapping, and the ability to inspect sites, plan work, and report progress.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of park policies and procedures and safety techniques.
• Experience with encampment removal policies and regulations.
• Ability to read plans, maps, and jurisdictional boundaries.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating multi-phase projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, assign, supervise, evaluate and participate in park maintenance work.
• Review plans and provide technical guidance to ensure conformance.
• Participate in hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Answer inquiries and assist in emergencies.
• Inspect parks to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Prepare reports on materials, equipment, and personnel usage.
• Communicate budget needs for equipment and supplies.
