Job summary

The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District is seeking a Park Maintenance Supervisor - Parks in Jurupa. The role provides day-to-day supervision of Park Maintenance Workers, manages multiple projects, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.

Strong leadership, GIS familiarity, and experience with heavy equipment are highly desirable. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of encampment removal policies, park policies, and the ability to train staff in safety

Qualifications

Knowledge of park policies and procedures; supervision; park maintenance and construction work.
Ability to identify needed repairs or maintenance work; plan, supervise, and inspect staff work.
Experience with training staff on safety techniques and PPE.
Familiarity with regulations: County Code, Game Code, and Ordinances; encampment removal policies.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, assign, supervise, evaluate and participate in staff work in park maintenance.
Review plans and specifications for park site projects and provide technical guidance.
Participate in hiring, promotions, and discipline of staff.
Answer public inquiries and assist in emergencies.
Inspect park areas to evaluate conditions and identify improvements or safety issues.
Discuss work projects with supervisor and lead workers; plan equipment, supply and personnel needs for budgets.
Prepare reports and maintain records on materials, equipment, and personnel usage.
