Job summary

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department seeks a Maintenance Supervisor III (Lead Operations Ranger) at Eisenhower State Park near Denison, TX. You will supervise facilities, grounds, utilities, and equipment, performing advanced maintenance and coordinating daily operations under park leadership.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 4 years in maintenance, 3 years in supervision, a valid Texas driver's license, and a Class D Water/Wastewater license within a year; prior water system

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or GED required.
• Four years of facility, equipment, or grounds maintenance experience.
• Three years in a supervisor or team leader role.
• Valid Texas driver's license within 30 days.
• Class D Water and Wastewater license within one year.
• Licenses must be maintained per TCEQ guidelines.
• Experience with water and/or wastewater systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, maintenance and repair of park facilities, grounds, utilities and equipment.
• Supervise, train and lead staff and volunteers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of facilities and grounds.
• Operate and maintain park vehicles and equipment.
• Assist in purchasing supplies and conducting events, revenue collection and accounting.
• Act as Additional Safety Officer and Back-Up Utility Plant Operator.
