Job summary

Prince George’s County Government in Largo, MD is seeking a Paralegal Supervisor (G18) within the Boards and Commissions Unit. This supervisory role provides administrative and secretarial support, coordinates office activities, and applies broad knowledge of County government functions to support hearings and court-related processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of paralegal experience, including leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Legal Studies, Business Admin or Paralegal Studies.
• Three (3) years of paralegal experience with at least 1 year in lead/supervisory role.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience and training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Filing judicial review.
• Preparing draft administrative court orders from hearings.
• Obtaining information from agencies to prepare documents for hearings for 4 different boards.
• Communicating with the general public on a daily basis to provide informational request.
