Employ Prince George's in Largo, MD is seeking a Career Services Coordinator to support the Director of Career Services and improve career development programs for Prince George’s County job seekers. You will supervise Career Consultants and the Program Assistant, coach staff, review performance data, and coordinate partnerships with training providers to connect participants with employment opportunities.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 3+ years in workforce development, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human services or related field.
3+ years of workforce development experience with performance-based delivery.
Minimum of two years supervisory experience with coaching and staff development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MWE is a plus.
Strong knowledge of WIOA and its application in workforce programs.
Demonstrated success in meeting KPI and grant-funded outcomes.
Strong project management, ability to organize workflows and milestones.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Career Services in delivering and improving career development services.
Review performance data and help implement corrective actions.
Liaise with training providers and partner service agencies.
Prepare statistical reports and materials for strategy sessions.
Deliver orientations on program eligibility and services as needed.
Lead special projects within the Career Services Department.
Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with requirements.
Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of staff and interns.
