Job summary

Keller Executive Search is partnering with a leading painting and commercial coatings contractor to hire an experienced Painting Estimator and Project Manager. This dual role combines detailed cost estimating with hands-on project delivery, ideal for a professional who enjoys owning a job from bid through final walkthrough.

The position requires preparing accurate estimates and then managing crews, schedules, and budgets to bring bids to life. On-site work with travel is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an estimator and/or project manager in painting or coatings
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, bid documents
• Experience with takeoffs, cost estimates, and change orders
• Manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and field coordination

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and takeoffs for interior and exterior painting projects
• Review plans and site conditions to determine materials and labor needs
• Manage projects from award to closeout including scheduling and budgeting
• Coordinate field crews and subcontractors to meet timelines and quality targets
• Act as primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle
