Job summary

Cherry Coatings is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and bid development for large commercial painting projects.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in non-residential painting, strong estimating skills, and an ability to collaborate with operations, field teams, and clients. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with opportunities to mentor staff and drive project success.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive growth in commercial paint.
• Strong estimating experience is required.
• High level of fluency in reading plans, specifications & related documents.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and develop all team members.
• Attend job site visits to review conditions and input with Operations/Field managers.
• Deliver solid estimates for entire project scopes; review bid documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction meeting schedules and estimating pipeline.
• Present scheduling projections and maintain knowledge of market pricing.
• Engage with customers and participate in meetings to grow business.
