Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation in Augusta, GA is seeking a Lead Painter to maintain and refresh walls, equipment, and surfaces inside facilities. The role requires applying paint with brushes, rollers or spray guns and preparing surfaces as needed.

You will protect areas with drop cloths, remove old finishes, and assist in safety and compliance programs while delivering quality workmanship and timely results.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• The ability to perform fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hand and wrist.
• Proficient use of painting tools and equipment.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint to buildings and structures using brushes, rollers or spray gun.
• Protect surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape during painting.
• Fill cracks and holes with caulk or putty.
• Remove fixtures prior to painting and prepare surfaces.
• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding and wire brushing.
• Set up ladders or scaffolding as needed and work safely.
