Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Some overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to perform fast, simple repeated movements of fingers, hand, and wrist.
• Ability to keep hand and arm steady while moving.
• Proficient use of painting tools and equipment.
• Follow safety standards of the company and Health Care Centers.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint to buildings and other structures with brush, rollers, or spray gun.
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape.
• Fill cracks and holes with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers.
• Remove fixtures prior to painting.
• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, and wire brushing.
• Smooth surfaces with sandpaper and scrapers.
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders.
• Attend continuing educational programs and maintain licenses.
• Attend mandatory in-services.
• Respect residents' rights and maintain professional conduct.
• Comply with corporate compliance program.
• Report hazards and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed.
