Job summary

Hong Kong Children’s Hospital invites an Advanced Practice Nurse (General) in Paediatrics to lead and supervise a nursing team within a clinical unit, shaping care standards and clinical protocols.

The role requires ongoing delivery of advanced patient care, development of pathways, and acting as a clinical expert across the service. A Master’s in nursing or related field is preferred and strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (Part I) practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• Qualification in advanced nursing specialty.*
• A degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• 5 years or more post-registration experience in healthcare, with at least 3 years in related specialty.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a nursing team within a clinical unit.
• Develop professional nursing standards, care protocols and clinical pathways.
• Provide complex patient care in the designated paediatric specialty.
• Act as a resource and referral agent on clinical expertise.
