Qualifications

• Advanced practice education as per listed: Master's or Doctorate in nursing or related field.
• Minimum one year licensed APP experience; three years preferred.
• California RN license and NP/CNS/CRNA national certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Co-direct the clinical, operational, and administrative initiatives with the Medical Director and nursing leadership.
• Supervise a minimum of 10 APPs.
• Conduct regular staff APP meetings and ensure competency and adherence to policies.
• Provide education to staff APPs and orient new staff.
• Represent the service on hospital-wide committees and professional/evaluation bodies.
• Ensure all operational mandates are completed and participate in quality/process improvement initiatives.
• Provide 24-hour administrator on-call coverage and coordinate APP scheduling.
• Address operational issues and advocate for practice models that maximize APP scope of practice.
