Job summary

Quad/Graphics in Spartanburg, SC seeks a Packaging Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2 p.m.–10 p.m. Lead a packaging operation, coach a team, and drive safety, quality and on-time performance. You'll partner with maintenance and quality teams to boost plant performance and continuous improvement, while building an engaged, high-performing workforce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Packaging, printing, converting, or folding-carton manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with die cutting, folder/gluer, sheetfed press, flexographic printing, or similar packaging operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to communicate effectively and follow safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees

• Manage daily production priorities, staffing, equipment, and workflow
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other teams to improve plant performance
