Job summary

IntelliPro seeks a seasoned Packaging/Product Development Engineer (Clark, NJ) to manage cross-functional product development projects from concept through launch. The role supports catalog updates, plant transfers, new product launches, and transversal development initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 4–6+ years in packaging, strong project management, and experience across cosmetics, consumer goods, or related industries. Hybrid onsite work in Clark, NJ is expected.

Qualifications

• 46+ years of experience in packaging, product development or project management.
• Experience in cosmetics/beauty, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, food, or related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Operations, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional product development projects.
• Experience taking products from concept through commercialization.
• Strong analytical skills including feasibility costing and COG analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time launches.
• Lead cross-functional product development projects from concept through commercialization and launch.
• Conduct project reviews, track action items, and drive resolution of roadblocks.
• Present project updates and risk escalations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop briefs and innovation concepts.
• Coordinate with Operations, R&D, Manufacturing and other teams for alignment and execution.
• Perform feasibility costing and cost-of-goods analyses; monitor budgets.
