Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Clark, NJ is seeking a Packaging Engineer/Product Development Manager for a short-term backfill role. The position is hybrid, pays $45-$51 per hour, and focuses on leading transversal product development projects from planning through launch with strong Excel tracking and cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Operations, and R&I.

Ideal candidate has 4–6 years in packaging/product development and PM, with a bachelor’s in Packaging Engineering or related field.

Qualifications

Senior manager level experience (4–6 years) in package/product development and PM, preferably cosmetics/consumer goods.
Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Operations or related technical discipline.
Strong PM skills with Excel-based tracking and documentation.
Proven ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams.
Onsite work is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project timelines, defining tasks/milestones to support on-time launches.
Present launch reviews and drive risk escalations to leadership teams.
Guide Marketing on new product briefs and design alignment with Agility, Profitability, and L4TF.
Lead project review meetings, coordinate cross-functional participation and ownership.
Analyze launch viability across cost, timeline, and sustainability; support COG, feasibility costs, and QCP PM.
