Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to train and lead package handlers and clerks in a busy warehouse environment. The role focuses on safety, productivity, attendance, and timely timecard submission.

The candidate will supervise daily activities, coordinate personnel, and work with management to resolve package concerns while upholding UPS's ethics and standards. The position is permanent and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kg.
• Ability to work flexible shifts up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure safety and timely completion of duties.
• Facilitates training for new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings; coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns and escalates as needed.
• Upholds UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
