Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for our Occupational Health program in Falls Church, VA. This full-time day-shift role (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm) will oversee outpatient clinic operations and lead clinical staff to optimize patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, Virginia RN licensure, at least 3 years of RN experience, and BLS certification. Experience in occupational health, workman's compensation, OSHA and vaccination programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN licensure in Virginia.
• Minimum of 3 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in Occupational Health including Worker's Compensation, OSHA, vaccination programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of daily clinical operations, workflow, productivity and training to outpatient clinical team members and updates management on issues.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members, patients and families to maximise patient outcomes and ensure efficient processing.
• Acts as a resource to train team members and improve competency and service levels.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and shares performance deficiencies with management.
