Inova Physician Services - Inova Cares for Children is looking for a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:

Reconciliation of Medications

Serves as a clinical expert and a team lead for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others.

Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice.

Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor to the outpatient team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Licensure: RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.

Experience: 3 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience.

Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous outpatient experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous leadership, charge or preceptor experience
• ACLS from the American Heart Association
