Inova Multispecialty Clinic in Ashburn seeks a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift (Monday–Friday). This role leads the outpatient team and delivers comprehensive nursing care with a focus on safe, patient-centered outcomes.

The position requires RN licensure in Virginia, a BSN, and at least 3 years of RN experience, with BLS certification. ACLS preferred and clinical leadership background is valued.

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities

Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:

• Full Intakes
• Reconciliation of Medications
• Patient Education
• Serves as a clinical expert and a team lead for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others.
• Achieves desired patient outcomes using integrated approach.
• Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice.
• Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor to the outpatient team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Licensure: RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience : 3 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous leadership, charge or preceptor experience
• ACLS from the American Heart Association
