Job summary

Mid-America Transplant is seeking an Organ Procurement Supervisor to maximize donation and provide guidance for clinical staff. You will oversee donation activity and ICU operations, identifying opportunities for improvement in current practices.

The role requires an RN with a BSN, critical care background, and leadership experience within an OPO environment. You will collaborate across departments to support organizational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing mandatory.
• Registered Nurse with critical care experience required.
• 3 years in Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) including Donor Management preferred.
• Experience leading a team (charge nurse, supervisor, or manager) required.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and make decisions under pressure.
• Proven collaboration with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Workforce Management: manage and coach staff, review performance and approve timesheets.
• Clinical Support: coordinate donor care, manage referrals, allocations and organ activity.
• Administrative: ensure equipment, supplies, and regulatory compliance.
