Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in optical/related field.
- 10+ years in complex optical system development.
- 3+ years in engineering management or tech leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering across optics, physics, mechanics, electronics, algorithms and software.
- Develop system architecture, requirements, trade-offs and technical decisions.
- Guide architecture reviews, verification plans and system integration activities.
- Translate customer and market needs into robust system specs and verification plans.
- Oversee system integration, optical setup, alignment, calibration and optimization.
- Drive system verification, design validation, and field deployment support.
- Coordinate resources, schedules and risk across multiple programs.
- Communicate project status and strategy to executives and stakeholders.
