Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience in a lab or technical setting.
• Experience in the optical industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lab team in cutting, edging, and creating prescription lenses to ensure timely delivery of glasses.
• Read and interpret prescription specifications and input into the computer to ensure lenses are cut properly.
• Maintain the lab area and equipment safely and organized, with scheduled maintenance.
• Perform multiple tasks across equipment stations to maintain job flow and complete reporting forms.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and assist in moving heavy lab equipment as needed.
