Eyemart Express is seeking an Optical Lab Technician (Full-Time) to cut, edge, and create prescription lenses with accuracy and speed using standard optical equipment. You will be part of a team delivering timely glasses to customers across the region.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and comfort reading specs; prior lab or technical experience is helpful, and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a lab or technical setting preferred.
• Experience in the optical industry preferred.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Cut, edge, and create prescription lenses.
• Read and interpret prescriptions and input into the computer.
• Maintain the lab area and equipment safely and orderly.
• Perform multiple tasks at several equipment stations to keep job flow.
